The extent of the works planned entails the extension of the Vredenburg Taxi Rank. The scope of works is inclusive of the expansion of the facility by utilizing the 3x erven on the southern side, formalization (channelising) of the taxi stacking bays, new pavement/road construction, repairs to existing pavement, stormwater accommodation, construction of a washbay and oil separator structure, extension of the existing roof canopy structure, construction of an ‘Active Box’, covered seating, electrical and lighting.
